Tara Steele Drangle

Tara Helise Drangle is a Tampa native. She received training from Mary Jo’s Dance studio and Elsa Pardo in the areas of Ballet, Jazz, Lyrical, Tap, Character, Acro, Hip-Hop, and Pointe. Tara was a member of the Chamberlain High School Chiefettes Dance Team for four years. In 2006 she graduated with honors from the University of South Florida with a Bachelors degree in Psychology. She performed in the 1999 and 2001 Super Bowl Pregame Shows. From 2004 to 2006, Tara was a member of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers Cheerleading Squad and performed with the team at the World Bowl in Germany. She has also received training from the Universal Dance Association and Hoctor Dance Caravan. Tara has taught dance for five years, three of those with the City of Tampa Gymnastics and Dance Center. Many of her lyrical routines have received awards at local competitions receiving National invitations. She created and coaches the Carrollwood Elementary Showstopper Dance Team and currently teaches dance for The Academies of Excellence. She has judged numerous dance, cheer, and step competitions in the state of Florida. She hosted a Hip-Hop Workshop in Pennsylvania for Curtain Call. Tara is Safety and CPR certified.

 

Patty Marie Cardinale

Assistant Director/Instructor

Specialties: Choreography, Production, Tap, Preschool Dance and Creative Movement 

Patricia (Patty) Marie Cardinale is a Tampa native. She received training from Tampa Gymnastics and Dance in the areas of Ballet, Tap, Jazz and Lyrical. Patty continued her dance career at Gaither High School as a member of the Starette Dance Team and performed in the 2000 Outback Bowl. She graduated from Gaither in 2002. She has taught dance for eight years for the City of Tampa’s Gymnastics and Dance Center and at the Patel Conservatory as well. She specializes in Tap and preschool dance instruction and has choreographed cheerleading routines for the City of Tampa Recreation Department. Her choreography in Tap has won first and second place Grand Champion at Hoctor Dance Competitions and has been performed at Disney and on Royal Caribbean. She has taught a Preschool Dance Workshop for Curtain Call in Pennsylvania. Patty has continued her training by attending classes in New York City taught by members of the 42nd Street Broadway cast and teaching seminars in Atlantic City and Rhee Gold’s in Orlando. Patty is safety and CPR certified.

 

Patricia Storelli

Instructor

Specialties: Ballet and Pointe

Patricia Storelli is a professional Ballet Teacher and choreographer who taught in most European countries and is currently a freelance teacher in the U.S. She received her professional training at the “La Scala” Theatre Ballet School in Milan (Italy) and became a member of the company where she performed in most ballets of the classical repertoire. She danced many leading roles like The Lilac Fairy and Blue Bird Pas de Deux in Sleeping Beauty, Sugar Plum Fairy in Nutcracker, Giselle and many other.  She continued her training with world renowned teachers Yvette Chauviree and Daniel Frank from the Paris Opera, Anne-Marie Holmes, former Bolshoi’s principal Irek Muhamedov, David Howard, Rosella Hightower and English National Ballet’s Artistic Director Wayne Eagling.  Patricia Storelli started her teaching career at age 25 and studied with the Royal Academy of Dance to obtain her teaching qualifications.  She became a Registered Teacher and Member of the Royal Academy of Dance (since 1985) after obtaining the RAD Teaching Certificate and Teaching Diploma with Anatomy and History of Ballet.  She has been entering students for RAD exams since 1985 with a 100% rate of Pass and recently obtained a BA (Hons) in Dance Education from the University of Surrey (England).  In 2006 she was appointed as a Mentor of the Royal Academy of Dance for cadidates enrolled in the Certificate in Ballet Teaching Studies.  She is a free-lance writer and ballet historian and writes ballet articles for the Diary of the Royal Academy of Dance and other dance publications.  She is currently in the process of publishing her first book about Pointe shoe technique.  Miss Storelli has been Artistic Director of West Florida Youth Ballet in Safety Harbor (Florida) for two years and she was of the principal teachers at Etudes de Ballet in Naples and Leggz Dance Academy in Kissimmee.  She stages the Russian verion of Nutcracker every year for several schools and she is a Member of Dance Masters of America and a Ballet Teacher at the Manatee School for the Arts in Palmetto, Florida.  She has also been the Director of the RAD curriculum at Sarasta Dance Theatre.  Her main focus is now on education and teaching students professionally at all levels.  She is also an ajudicator for Dance competitions.
